SEARCHING FOR CARE IN COLORADO

Effective July 1st, 2026, the Child Care Resource and Referral contract with Colorado Department of Early Childhood will end. As a result, 211 will no longer provide direct Child Care Resource and Referral services, including:

  • Colorado Shines childcare rating system information
  • Child care provider referrals
  • Child care provider availability information

You may contact your local early childhood council for assistance for these requests. For general information or for help with finding your local early childhood council, please dial 2-1-1.

COLORADO CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) is a subsidy program designed for eligible families that need childcare services for children under the age of 13 during employment, job search or school/college. Access to quality childcare is available to assist families in their efforts towards self-sufficiency.
