You will need access to a computer and a valid email address to use My Free Taxes. The average tax return usually takes about an hour.

A Federal tax credit worth up to $2,200 for each child aged 16 and younger (on or before December 31, 2025)
You do not need to earn a lot of money to get CTC. Parents or families can get CTC if they have earned an income of at least $2,500.
Parents may file for this credit with an ITIN number as long as the child(ren) have a Social security Number(s).
Additionally, A state tax credit worth between $200 and $1,200 is available to eligible Colorado parents and guardians who file.
